Hi everyone

We’re super excited to receive funding from Queensland Government again this year for a mini festival – Out of the Shadows!  It’s on at King George Square in Brisbane City on 24th May 2011 and it’s all about asking young people:  ‘what needs to change with to end domestic and family violence’.

Through music, art, speeches and activities young people will have the opportunity to talk about violence and its effects + ‘how will my relationships into the future change’.  Not just for young women, this is about young men too and relationships!!

Regardless of gender, sexuality, culture, how much money you have, have little money you have or where you come from- VIOLENCE at home must stop and we are the ones to make it stop!    Some people might have had violence in their homes as kids or have experienced violence in their own relationships or perhaps its happened to a friend.

Get in touch if you can help but definately – COME ALONG and GET INVOLVED !
